The facility was constructed in 1993 and comprises of four main halls with additional smaller rooms. The Pennsylvania Convention Center is also conveniently connected to the Marriott Hotel which allows for easy access for out-of-towners. In 2011, The Pennsylvania Convention Center embarked on a $700 million expansion campaign that added nearly one million square feet! The number of halls expanded from four to seven with the number of meeting rooms expanding from 50 to 73.
